Woman commits suicide in Raj

A 30-year-old married woman today committed suicide by hanging herself from the ceiling at her residence in Bigga village in the district, police said.

The incident took place when Sugni, a mother of two kids, took the extreme step when her husband and other family members had gone outside for work, they said.

The reason behind the suicide has not been ascertained so far, police said, adding that further probes are on.
