A 55-year-old woman today succumbed to injuries sustained in a road accident here.
Usha Devi was sitting outside her residence on October 17 when she was hit by a speeding van, police said today.
On a complaint lodged by the woman's son, a case has been registered against the driver of the vehicle at the Old Faridabad police station for reckless driving under relevant sections of the IPC.
The driver of the van has been identified and will be arrested soon, ASI Mahendra Pal said, adding that further investigations in the case were on.
