A woman, in her thirties, died after falling from the 19th floor of a building in south Mumbai's Cuffe Parade area during the wee hours today, police said.
The incident took place at Maker Tower building in Cuffe Parade and the woman has been identified as Savita Tambe, they said.
"The watchman of the building heard a huge thud at around 1.30 am and later found that the victim was lying in a pool of blood," a senior police official said.

Police are probing whether she fell accidentally or committed suicide, the officer said.
The body of the woman has been sent for post-mortem and investigation into the case is underway, the officer added.
