Woman dies; husband injured in accident in Punjab

A 40-year-old woman died while her husband sustained serious injuries when their car collided head-on with a mini-truck near Dharamkot here, police said Tuesday.

The deceased has been identified as Kulwinder Kaur and her husband Harjinder Singh was admitted to a hospital, they said.

The couple was going from Moga city to Firozewal village situated on Dharamkot-Kishanpura road on Monday when the mini-truck, coming from the opposite direction, collided with their car, police said.
