Woman dies In house fire

A woman was charred to death in a fire that broke out in her house at Deulipada village in Kendrapara district, police said today.

The charred skeletal remains of the woman, identified as Diptimayee Das, was retrieved this morning from the gutted house, they said.

The victim was alone in her house when the fire broke out. The exact cause of the fire mishap is yet to be found out, police said adding a case has been registered and the matter is being investigated.
