Woman electrocuted in UP

A 35-year-old woman was electrocuted to death and two others sustained injuries after coming into contact with a live wire of a tubewell at Azadpur village under Kandhla police station in Shamli district, police said.

The incident occurred yesterday when Kesho Devi had gone with Rekha (25) and Reshu 28 to collect water, they said.

The injured have been admitted to a hospital here and are stated to be serious, police said.
