Woman ex-CEO of TV channel arrested under SC/ST act

A woman ex-CEO of a television channel was arrested here Friday under the Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, police said.

She is an accused in a case under the Act, they said.

The case relates to a complaint lodged in January this year by a Dalit leader, alleging that he was insulted by her during a live show, they said.
