Woman falls in gorge, dies

A woman was killed when she fell into a 100 metre gorge after being hit by a lose rock falling from the hillside following a landslide in Tehri district today.

42-year-old Panna Devi was killed when she was suddenly hit by a rock from the hillside after a landslip, SDM Pratapnagar Brajesh Singh said.

As the woman was cutting grass on roadside she fell into a 100 metre gorge after being hit by the rock and died on the spot, Singh said.
