Woman found dead, husband absconding

A married woman was today found dead with strangulation and stab wounds on her body at her residence here while her husband is absconding, police said.

The victim, whose name was not immediately known, was around 25 years old, SHO of Nahargarh police station, Narendra Singh said.

Her husband, Rambharose Sahani, a rickshaw-puller, had recently rented the room at Jailalmunshi-ka-rasta here and the couple was seen last night, the SHO said.

The body has been sent for postmortem, he said, adding that a search has been launched for Rambharose and the matter is being probed.
