A 20-year-old woman from Mysuru was allegedly gang-raped by four men, including her friend near Pandavapura taluk here, police said.
The woman's friend who had promised to marry her, took her to a deserted place near Baby Betta yesterday and forced himself on her, Mandya Superintendent of Police Borase Bhushan Gulabrao told reporters here.
The man then rang up three of his friends asking them to come to the spot following which two among them also forced themselves on the woman, he said.
All four accused have been arrested on the basis of a complaint from the woman, officials said, adding two motorcycles used by them have also been seized.
The victim is undergoing treatment at the Medical College Hospital here, police said.
