A woman was allegedly gangraped by four youth who held her husband hostage in a village under Civil Lines police station area here, police said today.
The woman and her husband were walking towards their village after visiting a doctor on Saturday night when four bike-borne youth dragged them into the jungle, SSP Santosh Kumar Singh said.
After tying the husband, they raped the victim and fled from the spot.
A case has been registered against the four accused while two of them were arrested yesterday, the SSP said adding efforts are on to nab the remaining accused.
