A 45-year-old woman was hacked to death allegedly by her husband at Gwalapati on the outskirt of the steel city following a quarrel over his drinking habit.
Maya Das was hacked to death by a sharp weapon when she questioned her husband Sudhir Das' drinking habit last night, police officials said today.
Police recovered the body of the woman from her residence this morning after they were informed about the incident by people living in the area.
Sudhir is absconding, they said.
