Woman held for killing her infant son

In a fit of rage, a woman today allegedly killed her infant son by throwing him in front of a moving tractor following a dispute with her husband, police said.

The incident took place this afternoon in Tarnalgang in Kalpi area when Archana had a quarrel with her husband due to her alleged affair with a youth after which she threw her 10-months-old son in front of the tractor, which crushed him to death, they said.

Later, the accused was arrested and a case registered against her in this regard, police added.
