Woman injured in firingat wedding

A 25-year-old woman wasinjured in celebratory firing during a wedding in Chilamapur village here, police said today.

Sarmala, hailing from Gosalpur village, was injured when Awadesh and Arjun fired with unauthorised country-made pistols during the wedding celebrations of one Dharmendra, Kailash Chandra, Station officer Jaithera said.

The victim was admitted to a hospital from where she was referred to Agra, the Station officer said, adding an FIRhas been registered againstthe duo who are absconding.
