Woman killed by husband in Jammu

A 45-year-old woman was allegedly killed by her husband over some family dispute in Miran Sahib area of R S Pura today, police said.

The couple had a fight over some trivial issue following which the husband, Rashpal, lost his temper and hit his wife on her head with a log, a police official said.

Sudesh Kumari suffered critical head injuries and died while being taken to the hospital, the official said.

The deceased's husband has been arrested and a case of murder was registered against him, the police said, adding investigation into the case is underway.
