Woman killed by Panther in Alwar

In second such incident in as many days, a 55-year-old woman was killed today by a panther in Raipuria village close to Sariska Forest in Rajasthan's Alwar district, a senior forest official said.

"The victim has been identified as Shanti Bai," Chief Conservator of Forest and Field Director of Sariska, R S Shekhawat told PTI.

He said 45-year-old Birdi Bai too was killed by a panther yesterday.
