Woman killed for dowry

SGM resident Puja was married to one Arjun Kumar in 2006 and the couple had a daughter, police spokesman said.

The victim, who was a school teacher, was found dead in the house last evening, he said.

According to the complaint filed by Puja's father Chandan Singh Rawat, the in-laws constantly harassed her for dowry.

On his complaint, a case has been registered against four accused, the spokesman said.
