Woman killed for dowry in UP

allegedly killed for dowry in Nagra area of the district, police said here today.

Anju, who got married in 2007, was killed by her husband and in-laws for dowry in Mahuraha village yesterday, they said.

An FIR has been lodged against Anju's husband Ved Vyas Tiwari, Jawahar, Brijraj and one more in this connection, police said.
