Woman labourer electrocuted in UP

A woman labourer was electrocuted after coming into contact with a high tension wire in a field at Gogvan village in Shamli district, police said here today.

Farzana (30), was cutting sugarcane in the fields when a high tension wire fell on her, they said, adding, she died on the spot.

Following the incident, the crops also caught fire, police added.
