Woman lynched

in Bihar's Nawada district today for asking them to make way for her to pass.

The victim, identified as Malati Devi was beaten with sticks by her nephew and two others persons who were sitting on her path, Deputy Superintendent of Police Md Sarmurr Rahman said.

The woman, a widow, succumbed to injuries on the spot, he said.

A case has been registered and all three accused arrested, the DSP said.
