A Maoist, carrying a reward of Rs 1.10 lakh on her head, was arrested in a joint operation by security forces in Chhattisgarh's Narayanpur district, police said today.
"Sukhiyarin Yadav (50), an active member of Aamdai LOS (local organisation squad of Maoists), was nabbed yesterday by a joint team of Indo-Tibetan Border Police and district forces from the forests of Temrugao village," Naryanpur Additional Superintendent of Police O P Sharma told PTI.
The combing operation was launched on the night of April 18 in Marskol, Sulenga, Kokpad and Temrugaon villages of Dhaudai region, around 400 km from state capital Raipur.

"While cordoning off Temrugao forests, security forces spotted a woman moving suspiciously. They arrested her after a chase," the ASP added.
She was responsible for the affairs of 'Krantikari Mahila Sangthan'- a front wing of the Maoists.
"The woman was tasked with arranging meetings of villagers and pursuing them to join the banned outfit besides spreading Maoist propaganda in the region," Sharma said.
A total of 13 cases regarding Naxal-related offences were registered against her, the ASP added.
