A 23-year-old woman and her paramour have been arrested for allegedly murdering her husband and dumping his body in a drain in south west Delhi's Najafgarh area.
The victim, identified as Aman Das (25), a civil engineer was battered to death by his wife Charu (23) and her paramour Anurag at his residence in south-west Delhi's Dwarka on February 3.

Charu had even registered a complaint about her husband missing a day after committing the offence.
On February 12, police recovered a severely decomposed body of Aman from a drain.
During intense interrogation, Charu confessed to have murdered her husband Aman with the help of Anurag.
She told police that she was fed up of constant arguments with Aman over his drinking habits. He had also come to know about her intimacy with Anurag following which they decided to kill him.
"On January 3, the Charu and Anurag attacked Aman with baseball bat and iron pipes. After making sure that he was dead, both of them drove the body in Anurag's car to a drain in south west Delhi's Najafgarh and dumped it," said a police official.
"We recovered the body on February 12. It was in a highly decomposed state. Post mortem report suggested that the cause of death was repeated injuries on head and back with a blunt object," said DCP (southwest) Suman Goyal.
While Charu was arrested soon after, Anurag was arrested from his hideout in Burari area.
"We have also recovered the weapon of crime and a blood stained car. A case of murder has been registered at the Najafgarh police station and further investigations are on," she said.
