Woman raped by truck driver

A 36-year-old widow was allegedly raped by a truck driver on the Etawah-Etah highway route, police said today.

The woman, who was on way back to her residence from Saifai village, had taken lift in a truck yesterday, they said.

In her complaint at Malawan police station, the woman alleged that the truck driver raped and kept her with him for 24 hours before handing her to his cleaner and fleeing.
