A 50-year-old woman was allegedly
raped by a truck driver in Sector 128 here, police said today.
Prem Singh the accused truck driver was arrested and a case under relevant sections of IPC registered against him on the complaint made by the victim, they said.
According to the FIR, the truck driver forcefully took the woman to a secluded location and raped her.
The victim claimed that hearing her cries for help, local residents caught hold of the truck driver and handed him to police.
