Woman raped in Uttar Pradesh

A 23-year-old woman was allegedly raped by a man when she was alone in her house at Khur gan village in Shamli district, police said.

The incident took place on Friday, Station House Officer Bhagat Singh said.

A case was registered against the accused and the woman has been sent for medical examination, he said.
