Woman raped, thrown in well

A woman was raped allegedly by two persons and later thrown in a dry well in Leharpur area, police said today.

Circle Officer, Leharpur, Inayatullah said the 30-year-old woman was allegedly raped by Buddha and Taukeej on the night of February 14.

She was recovered from the well in a critical condition yesterday.

The woman has been admitted to a hospital and a case registered in this regard.

Buddha had been arrested.
