Woman resists loot attempt, injured

The incident took place in Shahdara at around 2:30 PM when Mamta and her daughter-in-law Preeti were going on a rickshaw.

Two men on a motorcycle tried to snatch Mamta's chain and she resisted their attempt. She caught hold of one of the snatchers and fell on their motorcycle and as a result the bikers also fell down.

"Mamta hit her head against motorcycle's handle and got hurt. The snatchers then opened fire and the pallets hit rickshaw-puller Mohid Ali and a cyclist Ali Hasan," police said.
