Woman's body found in a sack in Delhi's Laxminagar

The body of an unidentified woman was today found stuffed inside a sack at Laxminagar in east Delhi's Shakarpur area, police said.

The sack, which was emanating foul smell, was spotted this morning in the residential area of J and K Block by the locals who informed the police about it.

When the sack was opened the woman's body was found stuffed inside it, a senior police official said.

Prima facie, it appeared that the woman, who appears around 28 years old, was strangulated to death and her body dumped, he said.

Police are probing the case.
