Woman saves husband by donating part of her liver

A 34-year-old woman donated part of her liver to her husband who was suffering from liver failure.

The woman was operated by the doctors at a private hospial here on February 13 and removed the right part of her liver and transplanted to her husband, Chairman, of the hospital C Palanivelu told reporters here today.

The trasplantaion was successful and the husband and wrife are in good condition, he said.
