Woman shot dead in Muzaffarnagar

A woman was shot dead allegedly by three persons at her residence in Shahbuddinpur village here, police said today.

The victim, who was working as domestic servant in several houses was shot dead yesterday by three persons who forcefully entered her house, they said.

The brother-in-law of the deceased, has filed an FIR in this connection against one Dinesh and two unidentified persons.

The trio are absconding and efforts are on to nab them, they said, adding, the body has been sent for post mortem.
