Woman, son dies in fire incident

A woman and her son died when their quilt caught fire from a lamp in Bhuta area, police sources said here today.

Madhubala (25), her daughter Priyanka (7) and one-and-a half-year-old son Ankit sustained burn injuries when their quilt caught fire from a lamp while they were asleep in Bhadaria village last night, they said.

Police said that the victims were rushed to the district hospital where Madhubala and Ankit were declared dead late last night.
