Woman stabs husband to death

A 20-year-old woman stabbed her husband to death after a heated domestic quarrel in a remote south Mizoram Lunglei district's Rotlang West village.

Police reports reaching here today said Zonunmawii stabbed Vanlalsanga (22) on the latter's throat as the couple were engaged in heated argument while cooking on May three last.

Zonunmawii was arrested and produced before a local court in Lunglei town yesterday which remanded him to 15 days of police custody.

The woman is reported to be six-month pregnant.
