Woman sub-registrar arrested for accepting bribe

: The woman sub-registrar of Kadaladi was arrested today for allegedly receiving Rs 1,800 as bribe from a school teacher who sought a copy of the document for his land.

Police said the teacher had applied for a copy of the document when the sub registar demanded the bribe.

On a complaint from the teacher to the Vigilance and anti corruption police, a trap was laid and she was nabbed while receiving the amount, police said.
