Woman throws 3 kids into well, kills herself too

A married woman today committed suicide after killing her three children.

The incident took place under Pathri police station jurisdiction, some 20 km from here.

Police said that the 28 years old Sangeeta Mahadev Bhumre threw her three children, namely, Poonam (7), Abhay (5) and Pooja (1.5) into a well, and jumped in herself.

Pooja was handicapped, police said. All the four bodies were fished out in the evening.

Inspector Uttam Chauhan said that what caused her to take the step was yet to be ascertained.
