Woman trampled by elephants

The body of a tribal woman trampled by wild elephants was found today from the jungles of Maraghat range in Jalpaiguri district, forest officials said.

The body of Gita Oraon (22) was found in the jungle this morning. She went missing in the forest after going to collect firewood in the afternoon yesterday, officials said.

She was trampled to death by wild elephants in the jungle, they said.
