Working towards it, Priyanka Bose on attending Oscars

Press Trust of India  |  Mumbai

Priyanka Bose's Hollywood film "Lion" has earned multiple nominations at the 2017 Oscars and the actress is looking forward to attend the ceremony later this month.

The film has been nominated for the best picture besides earning gongs for its cast members Dev Patel and Nicole Kidman in the supporting categories.

When asked if she will be attending the ceremony on February 26, she said, "Yes. That is something on the mind and we are working towards it."

"Lion", which is about a young Indian boy who gets separated from his brother and mother when he ends up 1,000 miles away from his home and is eventually adopted by an Australian couple, had its Indian premiere here last night.

Talking about the film, the actress said, "It's a story that will resonate with everyone. I am glad people liked it and the Indian premier was a success."

The film also stars Sunny Pawar and will release in India on February 24.
