An inquiry was today ordered by the district authorities into the incident of detection of worms in mid-day meal served to students at a government primary school in Janta market here, police said.
District Magistrate Sunil Kumar Srivastav ordered an inquiry into the incident, which came to light after some media persons pointed out the matter.
The investigation of the incident has been given to District Inspector of Schools (DIOS) Manoj Giri, who would submit his report to the DM.
