City-based Yashwantrao Chavan Maharashtra Open University today announced its awards for various categories.
While poet Arun Naik of Nerur in Ratnagiri district will get first 'Vishaka' award for his poem collection 'Andharvartulatil Vedanapat', the second 'Vishakha' award will be given to poet Balika Bitale of Malshiras for her collection 'Magezinitun Sutatey Goli', an release by the varsity said.
The third 'Vishakha' award will be given to Asmita Gurav of Jalgaon for her poem collection 'Turt itakech'.

The Panjabrao Deshmukh memorial award for writing and research will be given to Pandit Vidyasagar, Vice-Chancellor of Nanded-based Swami Ramanandteerth Marathawada University.
All these awards will be presented at a ceremony here on March 12, the release added.
This year, the categories included the crowd favorites
such as Center Transformation, High Impact Global Roles and Great Place to Innovate. However, in keeping with current trends, Zinnov also instituted a number of new categories, including the Most Effective People Organization, Most Effective Gen Y Engagement and Best-in-Class Centers of Excellence.
Award Categories and Winners
Category 1: Technical Role Model - External Jury and Nomination Based This category was an individual contributor award and recognized those individuals who are technology stalwarts and have served by example and inspired individuals within their organization and beyond to follow a technical career path.

This category is an individual contributor award and will recognize those individuals who have
been exemplary in displaying a spirit of entrepreneurship within the organizations.

Category 3: Most Effective People Organization This category was a company-wide award to recognize those organizations that have successfully managed and exceeded their employee expectations. Drawing from the proprietary HR Maturity Framework, this category will look at functions of Talent Acquisition, Compensation & Benefit, Performance Management, L&D, and Employee Relations.

Category 4: Most Effective Gen Y Engagement This category was a company-wide award to recognize those MNC R&D centers that have successfully managed the challenges of attrition, engagement, acquisition and management of Gen Y employees.

- Technical Center India, Continental Category 5: Excellence in University Research Partnerships This category was a company-wide award to recognize those MNC R&D centers that have significantly leveraged the university ecosystem for research partnerships. The assessment criteria will focus on the depth, scale and quality of the interaction of Indian centers with tier 1 and tier 2 universities in India and abroad.

Category 6: Center Transformation This award category is a companywide award that recognized those companies who are leaders in the R&D in India and have rapidly evolved in their journey from being a pure play cost center to a value center.
This category of award will be assessed on the nature and type of transformation, the drivers, the enablers, the key milestones and metrics achieved and the key outcomes - technology, business, topline and bottom line generated.
