Young couple commits suicide in Uttar Pradesh

A young couple allegedly committed suicide today by jumping before a running train near Medhidudhi village, police said.

The couple, aged 25 years, were in a relationship but their families were opposed to it, they said.

Both jumped before the train holding their hands, the police said.

The identity of the two was established with the help of the identity-card recovered from their pocket, the police said, adding the bodies have been sent for post mortem.
