Young man, girl found hanging from tree

A young man and girl were found hanging from a tree in Barmer district of the state, police said today.

The incident came to light this morning when local people in Dhorimanna village found the bodies. The deceased were identified as Meer Khan (20) and Khetu (19), they said.

"They had an affair and it appears that they committed suicide last night," a police official said.

The bodies were handed over to family members after postmortem and further investigation is underway.
