Youth arrested for raping girl

A youth was arrested for allegedly raping a 16-year-old girl on pretext of giving her a job, police said today.

The girl was taken to Delhi on May 7 by Israil (22), who promised her a job, but he held her captive and raped her, Circle officer, Rajveer Singh said.

Family members of the victim had registered an FIR against the accused following which he was arrested from Delhi and the girl was rescued yesterday, he added.
