A 23-year-old youth today allegedly committed suicide by jumping into Chambal River.
Deepak Prajapati, a BA first year student of a government college, jumped into the river, Rajesh Soni, SHO, Kunadhi police station, said.
According to preliminary investigation, he jumped around 2 PM from the Kota Barrage , Soni said, adding a rescue team rushed to the spot and recovered the body.
The youth had recently given his first year annual exams, Soni said, adding, no suicide note was recovered from the spot.
