A youth allegedly committed suicide by consuming some poisonous substance in Kupwara district of Kashmir, police said today.
The deceased identified as Shabir Ahmad Khan consumed some poisonous substance yesterday. He was rushed to hospital where doctors declared him brought dead, they said.
The body was handed over to his kin after completion of the medico-legal formalities, police said adding, a case has been registered in this regard.
