Youth Cong likely to stage protest march to Speaker's house

Aiming at scaling up their protest against suspension of 25 party members from Lok Sabha, the Congress' youth wing plans to hold a protest march towards Speaker Sumitra Mahajan's residence tomorrow.

According to party sources, the Indian Youth Congress plans to start their protest march from the Congress' headquarters in the morning.

It is rare for a protest to be held outside the Lok Sabha Speaker's residence.

Suspension of 25 Congress members from Lok Sabha brought together several opposition parties who boycotted the Lower House and paralysed the Rajya Sabha today besides staging a joint protest in the Parliament House complex.
 

Congress MPs, led by party President Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi, staged a sit-in near Mahatma Gandhi's statue along with leaders of SP, RJD and AAP.
