Youth held for circulating objectionable message on Whatsapp

A youth has been arrested for allegedly circulating a message hurting religious sentiments on mobile application Whatsapp, police said.

Vinit Kumar, in mid 20s, was arrested yesterday on complaint of Faizan Shah, who alleged that Kumar circulated a message which hurt religious sentiments and was objectionable in nature, Sambhal police station Incharge Anil Mishra said.

The youth has been sent to jail, he added.
