Youth held for raping woman

A youth was arrested for

allegedly raping a 20-year-old woman under the pretext of marrying her, police said.

The accused, identified as Akash Jadoun (21), maintained physical relations with the woman by promising to marry her, police said.

However, the accused allegedly went back on his words, following which the woman approached the police.

A case under section 376 (punishment for rape) of IPC was filed against Jadoun, police said.
