A youth was injured in a firing incident allegedly during a row over sand mining on the outskirts of the city, police said today.
Raju was injured when Ashi Ram fired from his rifle in Katal Bataal area of Nagrota belt of Jammu district late last night during a dispute over sand mining, police said.
He has been admitted to GMC hospital, they said, adding that Ram escaped after the incident.
A case has been registered in this regard and investigation is on, they said.
