Youth killed, 4 hurt in road mishap

The driver of a tempo was today killed and four passengers were injured when it was hit by a speeding truck in Pilakhua area of the district, police said.

The driver was identified as Asif (24), a senior police officer said.

The injured were rushed to a nearby hospital, he said, adding the truck driver, who is yet to be identified, fled leaving behind his vehicle.

"We have seized the truck and are trying to contact its owner through the registration number," he added.
