Youth killed allegedly by father, brother

A 22-year-old youth was killed when he opposed his father's alleged attempt to rape his wife in Gaura area here.

According to the FIR filed by the victim Kishan Kumar's wife, her husband, who opposed an alleged rape bid by his father, was forced to drink poison and was set afire while she was locked in a room on June 28 in Motipur Kudoha village, SP Rajiv Malhotra said.

On the basis of the FIR, Dinesh Kumar Pandey (45) and his son Alok Kumar (19) have been arrested and further investigation was on, the SP added.
