A youth was killed after being struck by lightning when he was working in his agricultural field at a village in Agar district today, police said.
Antar Singh Angana (19) took shelter under a tree in his field at Piliyahamirpur village in neighbouring Agar district, when it started raining.
Amid the thundershowers, lightning struck the youth killing him on the spot, Barod police station inspector BS Chhari told PTI.
The body has been sent for postmortem, he added.
